May 23rd Announcements

May 23, 2019

  1. Do you have gently worn uniform shirts or pants that you can’t use next year (they are too tight or you are going to high school)?  Bring them into Ms. Tiller by Friday 5/24 for an out of uniform pass for Tuesday, May 28. Look through your closet.

  2. Your attendance still matters. Please continue to be present for school and on time for your classes. The prize patrol will be out to reward students for having good attendance. Also, the grade level with the best attendance will when a grade level redward at the end of May.

  3. Yearbooks are available $25 before and after school in room 208.

  4. All Track suits should be washed and turned ASAP for boys and girls.

  5. Today is the last day for book check-out in the Library.  All books are due back so that they can be removed from your account and reshelved for the summer.  Please clean out your locker and bring your books back from home, so they may be checked back into the WMS Library.

  6. Remember each Washington Middle School student has a Lincoln Library digital account for book access over the summer.  Download books to your phone or other devices to read! Talk to your teacher about digital access if you forget how to log in for reading access or see Mrs. Daniels in the library.

  7. All students should receive their Summer READ!  books this week. Enjoy your selection and trade books with your friends.  Read to succeed!

  8. All 7th grade students going to the Camp Cilca tomorrow . . . don’t forget to bring sunscreen and bug spray.  It is going to be a fantastic outdoor adventure day!

  9. Attention 6th Graders:  If you received a permission slip for the end of the year field trip, be sure to get it signed and return it to your science teacher no later than tomorrow.

  10. This week’s social goal: I can plan to finish the school year in a positive manner. Students should know to check grades and assignments and be prepared to know where they stand as the school year ends.
