September 17th Announcements

September 17, 2019



  • 7th grade Homework Help will be today after school in room 208. Bring work with you and be in room 208 by 2:40. 




  • Blue and Gold Choir will be meeting after school today. Those interested in joining should meet after school in room 105. Choir will start after school and end at 4:00




  • Are you a good leader? Do you want to work well in groups and develop strong working partnerships? We have a program to help you develop your leadership skills. Step up to Leadership Group will Start October 1st through November 19. All students are welcome to participate. If you are interested in participating, please see Ms. Nosa in the guidance office to sign up.




  • Attention 6th Grade Boys who are interested in playing basketball for WMS. There will be tryouts 9/19 from 4-6 in the gym. Please make arrangements for your own transportation and return to school dressed for activity at 4 on Thursday.




  • We are selling a la carte items in the cafeteria. Students please remain aware of the expectations for purchasing a la carte items. Students are limited to sales of $1 which is usually two items. Also,students should not be bringing these items out of the cafeteria. 




  • Progress Reports will be out this week. Students please be aware of your current grades and academic progress. Also, please be aware of opportunities to get assistance with academic work and take advantage to bring your grades back to passing. 




  • This week MAP testing begins. MAP is a benchmark assessment of your academic performance. Students should be aware of their current score and strive to improve their growth throughout the year. Please take the assessment seriously and do your best to beat your last growth or RIT score. 




  • Art club will NOT meet after school today. Our next meeting will be this Thursday. Please bring any glitter or sequins you might have in your craft drawer from home.
