Lindsay Elementary is joining the very elite ranks of being distinguished as a Blue Ribbon School by the National Department of Education. Feb 20, 2010 With the anticipation that revenues will be flat, if not decreased, the Springfield Public Schools prefers to take a proactive look at FY2011 expenditures to make sure that there is as little impact to the fund balance as possible. The proposal includes reducing the number of teaching positions by 56. We typically hire more than 100 new teachers.
