The Reading Zone

Sep 10, 2009 The seventh graders at LMS enjoy their daily time to read a high-interest, self selected book. We begin each class period with self-selected reading. Students immediately put down their materials and grab their book of choice and find a quiet comfy spot to get into the "reading zone!"

Beta Club National Convention

Sep 1, 2009 Some of our LMS BETA students attended the National Beta convention in Orlando Florida this summer. These students participated at the State Convention and placed a first or second to move on to the National level.

Gallery Walk

Apr 24, 2008 Students participated in a Gallery Walk on Monday and Tuesday! They shared their "Characterization Podcast" with their peers. Students gave descriptive feedback to one another.
