Reading Log

Each Monday, a new reading log will be sent home. Students are expected to read 5 nights a week for a minimum of 20 minutes. After reading, students will write a short summary by writing who, what, where, when, and why. The students can choose what they would like to read such as a newspaper, article from the web, or a book. Parent or guardian signature is required on this log daily, in addition to the summary, to receive the 5 points per day toward the students' language arts grade.
