Fieldtrip tomorrow!

Don't forget we head to UIS to see a show about the presidents tomorrow! Mrs. Trieger will be back and ready to enjoy the trip with you!

School Starts Tomorrow!

I am so excited to meet all of my Superstars! I will see you on the playground before school tomorrow. Don't forget to put your special confetti under your pillow tonight. I will, too!

Parents... I look forward to meeting you as well. Be on the lookout for daily emails to keep you informed about our day. Please let me know the best email address to use... That way you won't miss out on any of our classroom news. I also include announcements about upcoming events and nightly homework assignments. Also, check the class web site often as I post photos, copies of important documents that I give to the kids but they often misplace, and information about what we are learning.

2012-2013 Ice Cream Social!

Don't miss your chance to meet your new third grade teacher! Come up to school on Thursday, August 16 from 5:30-6:30. Find out who your teacher will be and enjoy some yummy ice cream. Mrs. Trieger won't be there but you can meet her intern, Miss Micik! Family members are welcome, too!

School starts at 8:30 on Monday, August 20. Can't wait to meet you then!

Wednesday Folders

Please check your child's Wednesday folder each week. Inside you will find important papers including newsletters, school and community flyers, and corrected papers. No need to sign the folder for reading homework... we use a daily log instead.

Only return papers I need back... remove all graded work and informational flyers.
