About me
Mrs. Buscher's "bio" who teaches "biology".
I grew up in St. Louis and have a love for outdoor adventure and travel. The most exciting trips of my life have been to Alaska, where I met my husband white water rafting and South America, where I traveled down the Amazon River and visited Machu Picchu. My favorite activities are horseback riding, skiing and hiking. One of my favorite books is The Cry of the Kalahari. I earned my Bachelors degrees in Wildlife Management & Biology from the U. of Wisconsin, and my Masters of Education from Colorado State U. I completed my National Boards and hold a Masters Teacher Certificate. After 20+ years of teaching, I continue to look forward to getting to know my students and share with them my love of science. I have lots of pet snakes for students to handle in my classroom. Teaching is the best job in the world! I've been fortunate to have all great jobs either working with horses or teaching.
