AVID Activities: On Wednesday, our eighth graders took time to partner up and give each other feedback on their history fair projects, using the same rubric as teachers will to grade them. Once again, we are so proud of the hard work and creativity that the students have displayed during this process! Seventh graders continued to discuss the importance of "Marking the Text". Please ask your student what the purpose of "Marking the Text" is. On Thursday, students will participate in tutorial groups.

Reminders & Homework:
• Return grade report signed by a parent no later than Friday.
• Write two higher level questions for homework on Wednesday to prepare for Thursday's tutorial groups.

Parents as Partners: Please review your child's grade report for the week. Please discuss your child's current grades, along with goals for the remaining couple of weeks prior to the end of the quarter. Please sign and return the grade report prior to Friday. Again, history fair is such a meaningful experience to our students, thank you so much for your support and help with history fair!
