Periods 2 and 3
To reinforce what we are learning about graphs and linear equations we watched the BrainPop movie on linear equations.
Students also filled out a graphic organizer, completing it by writing things they learned about linear equations. This was a good independent notetaking activity for most students.
Students also found the y-value when given the x-value and graphed the points they found.
We completed the assessment for Chapter 4. Students also worked on completing the review.
We continued our discussion of how to write a linear equation in slope-intercept form when given different conditions. This is something that everyone needs to be strong in since it is the basis for the other forms we will be using in this chapter.
