Jan 31, 2013 Ms. Grace's class, using the formula for area of a triangle (1/2xbxh) found the surface area of a polyhedron with 24 faces. In case you're interested, it was 3990 sq. cms.

7th Grade: Ordering Fractions & Decimals

Jan 31, 2013 Putting fractions and decimals in order of value just became a lot (note that a lot is two words!) easier when you can clip them on a number line!

Finding Surface Area of 3D Shapes

Jan 18, 2013 8th Graders in Ms. Grace's class calculated the surface area of two types of pyramids as 2D drawings, and then turned them into 3D shapes.
