Absent, Missing, and Late Work Policies!

Absent Work

It is the student's responsibility to get the previous day(s) assignments from the assignment binder and any handouts that they missed while they were gone. Work must be completed promptly and turned in ASAP.

Missing Assignments

All missing assignments must be turned in by the end of each book to receive a passing grade on the assignment. After this point, work will not be accepted.

Late Work

For any assignment that is not completed upon collection the student shall receive an Incomplete (INC) which acts as a zero in the grade book until the assignment is made up and turned in.

1. Find a study place

2. Develop a system for writing down assignments and keeping track of progress.

3. Help them organize their math notebook. Get rid of anything and everything that does not belong in their math notebook.

4. Communicate with the teachers often to check on how your students is doing.
