Learning Styles

Sep 15, 2011 Recently, students in my classes took a survey to find out their learning style (Kinesthetic, Visual, or Auditory). We discussed some good ways to study based on their learning style.

Accelerated Reader

Nov 17, 2010 Reminder...Students are expected to meet a minimum point requirement for Accelerated Reader. Students read a book and take a short quiz online to test their comprehension of their independent reading book. Students are awarded points based on how they score on this quiz. Please check the Language Arts/Literature resource page in your child's planner to see their point requirement. This is worth 10% of the quarter grade. Points start over each quarter.
