On Friday, March 2, first grade students at Lindsay celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday. Theodor Seuss Geisel was born on March 2, 1904. He has delighted children and adults with his special tales filled with high frequency, rhyming, and often nonsensical words.

First graders participated in a read-in, completed a character word search, decorated a huge birthday card, played Seuss-a-phone (like telephone), and ate a yummy cupcake! Check out our pictures in the photo gallery!
