Date changes

May 11, 2013 There have been a couple of date changes (since my last newsletter) for upcoming events: *Family Picnic: This will now be held Thursday, May 16th from 5:30-7:00 at Harvard Park. *Honors Assembly: This will now be held on Friday, May 24th from 10:00 to 10:50 for grades 3-5. You should receive an invitation from the school office if your child is going to receive an award.

Letter of No Consent

Apr 9, 2013 A Letter of No Consent was sent home with your child today. Our class will have a program on personal safety tomorrow which will be presented by the Sangamon County Child Advocacy Center. Please read the letter. If you DO NOT want your child to participate in the personal safety program, please return the signed form at the bottom of the letter. If your child does not return the form, they will take part in the program presentation tomorrow. Thanks for your consideration in this matter.

Black History Play

Mar 23, 2013 The date of the 5th grade Black History Play has been changed to Friday, April 19th at 2:00. Please disregard the date in my most recent newsletter.

Report Cards

Mar 23, 2013 3rd quarter report cards were sent home with your child on Friday. Please review the report card, the achievement goals, and teacher comments. Then, please send back the last page of the report card with your signature. Thanks for your cooperation.

Breakfast with Books

Nov 9, 2012 Please join us for "Breakfast with Books" on Wednesday, 11-14-12, in the cafeteria at Harvard Park from 8:00-8:45 a.m. A light breakfast and a reading book will be provided. Your child is bringing home a flier about this event today.

Halloween Party

Oct 30, 2012 A flier went home yesterday informing you that Fox 5th grade will have a Halloween Party from about 1:30-2:30 on Wednesday, October 31st. Please ask your child to see the flier if you have not already seen it. Thank you!

Basketball Practice

Oct 16, 2012 Basketball practice starts tomorrow, 10-17-12. Practice will be held from 4:00-5:15. Practice will also be held on Friday, 10-19-12, from 4:00-5:15, even though school is dismissed at 2:00 that day. Your child should have brought home a basketball practice schedule today.
