Band Fundraiser

Feb 21, 2011 Today we kicked off a band fundraiser. Each band member was given lollipops to sell. Please sell as many as you can, as this helps to pay for a great deal of expenses incurred in band. If you sell all of your lollipops make sure to come back for more!

Pep band

Feb 7, 2011 Just a reminder that ALL band members are required to be at the home Boys Varsity Basketball games. These are considered a performance and are graded accordingly. Any missed games must be PRE-APPROVED and the opportunity for a make-up grade will be at the teachers discretion. As stated earlier, work is not an excused absence.

City Tournament Information

Jan 20, 2011 Information for city tournament was given to all band students. It is also attached.

Photos

Dec 1, 2010 If anyone has any photos or video of the band, I would love to see and share them! The school newspaper is looking for some shots of the band performing.

IMPORTANT!!!!

Dec 1, 2010 Please note the new date for the Winter Concert - DECEMBER 13th at the Lincoln Library. For more information, open the Band Update letter.

Band Performance Dates

Nov 16, 2010 Please be sure to check out the new performance dates schedule that I distributed to the band members. This includes pep band dates, as well as a Winter Concert. I have also put this information on my web page for those who may not always receive information sent home.

Pep Band Update

Nov 4, 2010 We will also be returning to pep band music in the near future, as basketball season will be upon us soon. Please keep up with your pep band music and lyre. You will need these for the games.

Concert Band Update

Nov 3, 2010 We are turning the page from marching band to concert band music. We will have a winter concert on December 14, 2010 at 7:00. Please make sure that your instrument is in good working order. An instrument that does not work properly can lead to a great deal of frustration, sometimes making a student feel that it is their inability to master their instrument.
