Project Summary

Eighth grade students explore one olympic event in depth and find ways that their athletic activity can be experienced in their own city at recreational and competitive levels. The students will work in groups of three or four to create a poster using "Pages" which will be used to present their research to their classmates and school visitors. The poster format can be used later as a media presentation (ie. imovie, keynote) for an extended audience.
