Today's Activity/7th Grade: Students completed the final drafts of their narrative essays today in AVID. Students who were finished with this had fun designing a new AVID t-shirt. We will soon be voting on a design and ordering new t-shirts!

Today's Activity/8th Grade: Students continued history fair research today and really are doing an outstanding job! They are very engaged with their topics and really have done a great job with the research process so far!

Reminders/Homework:
8th Grade: First set of 10 history fair notecards due on Friday, September 30.

Parents as Partners:
7th Grade: Ask your child about their narrative essays and t-shirt design.
8th Grade: Ask your child to tell you about the interesting research s/he has uncovered so fair during history fair research. The first set of 10 notecards is due next Friday, so be sure to ask your child if s/he is on track to meet this deadline.
