Bell Ringer: All Creatures Great and Small Writing sharing of writing
Today in class students went to my website and went over the different types of hooks. We read the descriptions and then tried to make it fit with our class one — trip to Hawaii. I think this helped the students a lot! I told the students that I want a more complex hook, not just a question. Students then worked on their graphic organizer/intro. Some students began their reasons part of the organizer.Homework: Can work on introduction part of your graphic organizer
