Students are taught how to find books within their ZPDs, and they should be able to pass AR quizzes if they are reading books within this range. READ MORE
Aug 24, 2011 Welcome to another fantastic year of Language Arts and Literature at WMS! There are a few changes this year. I have moved to room 104, which gives us much more space for our classroom library and for working in groups! This year, I will be teaching Advanced Language Arts for 6th grade during 1st block, and for 8th grade during 3rd block. During last block, I work on data management of our literacy assessments for all WMS students. Let's have a wonderful year!
Apr 12, 2011 Ms. Landers will be joining us for the rest of the year from Benedictine University. She has already begun teaching most of our classes, and she will be taking over my classes full time after spring break for the remainder of the year. So far, she loves WMS and is doing a fantastic job! Please direct any questions to me by phone or email. Ms. Landers' school email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Apr 12, 2011 Check out my students' best poetry in the Poetry All-Stars section of my web page.
