Pre-Algebra: Students turned in their homework (Fluency Practice for Topic 1). We continued Lesson 2-5 starting with Example 2. Students are taking notes in a math notebook as we go through the examples. We went over Example 3, then students did the Try It! at the bottom of page 119. We went over the Key Concept on Page 120, adding verbal description to the list of representations. Students wrote down answers for problems 1 and 2, then did #4 and 5 on their own. The assignment is pages 121-122 (#8, 9, and 11).
U.S. History: Today we read the Content Notes for Document D, then we read and discussed Document D. It contained some words that were written in Elizabethan English. Students worked together to answer the analysis questions, then we went over them. Document D is due tonight. I read the Content Notes for Document E to the class, then we started analyzing Document E.
