Fourth grade students spent the week learning about owls and their habitats. Each student dissected an owl pellet to see what the owl had eaten. Students recreated the skeleton of the animal and shared them at Math and Science Night. This project was made possible by a grant from the Springfied Public Schools Foundation. The Wilcox PTO sponsored a visit from the Henson Robinson Zoo. Miss Emily brought a live screech owl for the class to see. She shared all about owls with us.
Thank you to both organizations for our great learning experience!
