3 days ago In history class, we talked about markets and all of the groups that create a particular market. We also discussed how the bad times on one group in a market could affect the others.

Running a Household

5 days ago Today we started our unit on Budgeting and took some notes on what can be in a monthly budget. Mortgage or rent payments, car payments, credit card bills, were some examples we used. We also looked at what kind of job and house we would like in the future.

May 9, 2013 Tomorrow is our 7th Grade presentation of Discovery LMS, introducing the land documentaries that the students have been working on! They have learned so much and I am very proud of all of them!

Land Documentaries This Friday

May 6, 2013 Well, on Friday of this week, we will show our Land documentaries to the public. I'm very excited to see how these will turn out. I have been hearing a lot of good things from the other teachers.

Production Time

May 1, 2013 Well, the groups are doing a great job at writing the scripts. Tomorrow we will start production - making any video clips we need, voice-overs, script tweaks, bringing in costumes to film for green screen, and anything else we can think of.

Scriptwriting

Apr 29, 2013 Today, we started writing our scripts for our land projects. We are making progress and we will continue tomorrow with the scripts.

Land Documentaries

Apr 25, 2013 This week we have started our land documentary groups and also a history assignment which covers a historical event that has made a positive impact on our society. The kids are really enjoying this project.
