Behavior Management

We will use a card system to track student behavior. Behavior slips will be sent home each Friday.

Green: AWESOME
Blue: Warning-lose 5 minutes of recess
Yellow: Lose 10 minutes of recess
Orange: Lunch Detention/Parent Contact
Red: Behavior Report

Students will have an opportunity to earn Gotchas for exemplar individual behavior and assignment completion. Students can use their Gotchas to purchase items at the school store once a month. Students will also be able to purchase free Ipad time and Homework Passes within our classroom.

Homework

Homework is assigned every night except Friday! Students are expected to bring their homework back completed the next day. If a student fails to return their homework or returns homework incomplete, they will be asked to stay in at recess to make up the work. The following list outlines the work to be expected each night:

Monday: Daily Language, Daily Math, Fluency, Spelling Activity(due Fri.)

Tuesday: Daily Language. Daily Math, Fluency,

Wednesday: Daily Language. Daily Math, Fluency

Thursday: Daily Language, Daily Math, Fluency, Study for Spelling Test

****Other assignments will be given as needed(SRA, Envision Math Practice Sheets, as well as Science and Social Studies)
