
Grandma Mary was Honored
Apr 18, 2013 Yesterday our very own Grandma Mary was recognized at UIS for volunteering in our classroom. Granda Mary has been very faithful to our class. She is hear Monday - Thursday from 8am - 2:30pm. She spends time reading with students, helping students with math, writing she evens spends her own money buying school supplies and treats for our class. Grandma Mary is a very special person.
Party Time
Mar 22, 2013 Our class collected over 300 can food items to help the Salvation Army with their annual can food drive. In appreciation of our efforts and due to the fact that our class collecting more that any other class at Enos Elementary School, the Salvation Army gave us a PIZZA PARTY.

Read Across America
Oct 24, 2012 Dontrez was our winning this week in our class Read Across America competition. Dontrez read this week's poem to 150 people in seven days. Wow!!! Way to go Dontrez
Let's Party
Oct 12, 2012 Our class has been working hard since day 1 learning and following school and class expectations. As a class we set goals and discussed different ways to celebrate once we reach each goal. As a class reward for reaching an amazing goal of 50 class compliments, we had a pizza party today! Class compliments are recognitions given to classes by other adults in the building. Compliments can be given when classes are observed following school expectations.
Read Across America
Oct 2, 2012 JaVonte was our winning this week in our class Read Across America competition. JaVonte read to 175 people in seven days. Wow!!! Way to go JaVonte
Real Men Read
Oct 2, 2012 Today as part of the “Real Men Read” program the Superintendent of Springfield Public Schools District 186 Dr. Walter Milton Jr. read to our class. The students really enjoyed Dr. Milton’s visit. Dr. Milton not only read to the students but he also spent time getting to know each student and encouraging them to work hard so that they can accomplish their dreams.

Feb 3, 2012 Ashanti is our SPOTLIGHT student this week. Ashanti loves school. Her favorite subject is math. She enjoys playing games and would like to be a teacher when she grows up. Ashanti’s 3rd grade goal is to become a mathematician.Go to Archive
