3rd and 4th Hour A/B Day: Language and Literature
Today the students took the District Expository Writing assessment. They worked very hard on either a compare/contrast essay or a how-to essay. On Thursday we will begin typing the rough draft of the career project research paper.

5th Hour: Sixth Grade Math
This class is now meeting with Mrs. Wankel because of the schedule changes. They are meeting during the time that I teach an 8th grade class, so she will be working with them until Spring Break. 6th Hour: Eighth Grade Algebra 1
Today we reviewed lessons 8.1 and 8.2, Multiplying and Dividing Monomials. We checked the homework assignment, which was Practice Worksheet 8.1, problems 2-24, the evens, and Practice Worksheet 8.2, problems 1-10. We went over several of these problems to clear up questions that the students had. For homework, the students should finish Practice Worksheet 8.2, starting with #11.
