Middle Level Students wrote and illustrated picture books.

Every day this week, students shared their picture book rough drafts and ideas with a new partner. Partners shared one thing they really liked about the story, and two questions they (as readers/listeners) had.

Middle Level students enjoyed seeing Hunger Games at Showplace 8. Many students read the book, and all students were a part of the book as a read aloud.

After reading "The Wright 3" (Sorry for the quotation marks, but I can't seem to underline the title in this photo gallery!) by Blue Balliett, Middle Level visited the Dana Thomas House in Springfield, just in time for the lovely Holiday Decorations!
