ISAT TIME IS FAST APPROACHING

RIF Books

Dec 10, 2012 Make sure you take your RIF book home to read over break. Once you are done reading your book swap it with a friend and you both have a new read!

Winter Break

Dec 10, 2012 WInter Break is fast approaching! Make sure before the calendar gets filled with many holiday activities that you take the time to schedule time to each as a family. Count down the days until holiday break with reading a different read aloud each night. What a great way to end a busy day as a family with a enjoyable read aloud.

RIF Books/ISAT

Mar 14, 2011 Each third, fourth, and fifth grader received their second free book from the RIF Program. We encouraged students to keep their book here at school so as they finished the ISAT they could enjoy a new book. Lindsay students rocked the ISAT last week! We are so proud of each student and how hard they worked in giving their best to last weeks assessment. Congratulations to all!

Assessment Complete- DATA DAYS Scheduled

Sep 18, 2010 The DIBELS assessment is complete. Monday, Sept. 20 and Tuesday, Sept. 21 classroom teachers and support staff will meet together to analyze the data and plan for interventions. After working collaboratively to plan appropriate interventions classroom teachers and support staff will begin supporting teachers deliver the best instruction possible.

DIBELS Assessment

Sep 2, 2010 Tuesday, September 7 the students at Lindsay School will be given the Fall DIBELS assessment. Each primary child will be given this individual assessment to assess their early literacy skills. Intermediate students will be assessed on their fluency skills. This assessment will take approximately two weeks to complete. Your child will bring home a letter with their results shortly after the assessments are complete. If you have any questions contact one of the reading teachers.

Aug 2, 2010 Only a few short weeks left to complete your reading pledge. In the Spring we all signed a reading pledge to read at least five books this summer. School starts on Monday, August 23 so if you have not completed your goal you still have time! Turn off the television and video games and R E A D !
