Locks / Locker room

Remember to keep your locker and the lockerroom area clean. Students are NOT to share lockers.

If any student has lost a lock they need to report it to the teacher. Students are required to pay five dollars for any locks not turned in at the end of the year.

NO BOOK BAGS ARE ALOUD IN THE LOCKER ROOM DURING THE SCHOOL DAY! STUDENTS ARE NOT TO CARRY BOOK BAGS TO OR FROM P.E. DURING SCHOOL DAY!!

3. To help students understand and improve fitness levels and health awareness

Welcome Back To School..

Looking forward to another great year in Physical Education class!! The first three class periods of the school year will be getting students organized and ready for classroom procedure. We will discuss and review the classroom management, be placing students into attendance spots on the gym floor and we will be passing out locks and lockers to students. We will then move directly into the introduction to FITNESSGRAM tests and protocols that will take place, as well. The goal for the first two weeks is to help students gain and/or re-establish healthy routines in PE class

First Day Students Dress For P.E.

A Day students first day 8/26/17 B Day students first day 8/27/17 P.E. Uniform Students are expected to wear proper uniforms for Physical Education. This includes white or gray shirt with blue or black NON DENIM shorts and athletic shoes with good support for p.e. activities. (Must have laces)

Students Absent From Physical Education Class Excused or Unexcused.

Students who are absent from physical education class will receive an incomplete grade for the day of absence. Incomplete grades will result in zero points for the date of absence. Student can write a five paragraph essay on a health or fitness related essay of their choice to make up the grade. Students are to bring the article and the essay to the teacher upon completion to make up the absence date.

Essay topics can be about nutrition, a specific athlete, an athletic event or sport or anything deemed related to a physical education topic. Essays must be completed within a reasonable time frame of the absence.
