The Board of Education, Springfield School District No. 186, will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, in the Board Room, 1900 W. Monroe Street, Springfield, Illinois, at 4:00 p.m. to engage in self evaluation practices and procedures, 5ILCS 120/2(c)(16). The Board is not expected to take action during this meeting. The Board will adjourn promptly into Executive Session once the meeting has begun. It is expected that the Board will conclude the meeting directly from Executive Session.
Additionally, until further notice, Board of Education meetings will be held virtually through a Zoom webinar format, in an effort to adhere to State recommendations related to social distancing and gathering sizes. Board Members will participate remotely.

As the Board will adjourn promptly to Executive Session and no action is expected, this meeting will not be live streamed. The Board Room of 1900 W. Monroe Street will be open during the meeting. However, no more than 18 people shall be allowed into the Board Room during the meeting and social distancing rules shall be strictly enforced.

Note that the recitation of written comments will adhere to the same time limits prescribed for spoken comments from other public participants.
