WHAT: The Empower All Abilities Conference is for families, special education professionals and community members. This is the 12th year of the conference, which was formerly known as D2P. The conference will feature information from area physicians, psychologists, attorneys, advocates and other professionals. Families will gain practical information about their children’s education issues, connect with other families, and learn how to complete paperwork for local and state resources available to students with disabilities. There is also a community resource and exhibitor fair to help connect families to additional information and services.
Registration is encouraged, and is available online here. CPDUs are available. Childcare is provided at no charge.

He has held a variety of positions which include teaching assistant, librarian, parent educator, teacher, dean and now principal. While at Black Hawk, his main focus is to create a family culture. Under his leadership, Black Hawk has adopted the motto “We are Family” and he works hard to instill family values in both staff and students.
