Early Start Curriculum
Early Start classroom teachers use the Creative Curriculum for Preschool, 6th edition, as the foundational curriculum for the teaching of all children. Based on early childhood theory and research, this nationally known curriculum defines: How Children Develop and Learn, The Learning Environment, What Children Learn, The Teacher's Role, and the importance of The Family's Role. Skills taught are based on the Illinois Early Learning Standards. Content is individualized to the interests of the children in specific classrooms to ensure relevant, meaningful learning.
