District 186 F.A.C.E. is hosting a F.A.C.E.Camp* “unconference” for families, community and educators Date: February 28, 2019 - 6 to 7:30PM
Place: Southeast High School

At F.A.C.E.Camp the expertise and perspective of everyone in the entire room is valued and needed. Every adult within the session brings an important and unique perspective to contribute to sharing strategies and ideas to benefit student learning, teaching and parenting. *F.A.C.E.Camp is based on the 'EdCamp & ParentCamp model'. To learn more go to Dr. Joe Mazza's work.

Key messages:
1. Family & community engagement is a collaboration that drives student learning and achievement.  When families/community are in your school, connect to it SIP.   
2. Research and best practices for engaging families/community can be found in I.S.B.E. Family Engagement Framework (link) 
3. 
FY19 F.A.C.E. Action Plan is a tool to support SIP Goal 3, Worthy Target 3E. It is to be completed with family and community input.
