NEW District 186 Covid Testing Clinic for Students, Staff, Affiliates, and Volunteers

Location - White Oaks Mall, Lower Level, Next to Southeast Entrance

Between Macys and Esporta Fitness

Clinic Hours Monday - Friday 7:45 - 2:30                                                             

Available Tests  Antigen nasal swab (Binax) & 

                          PCR Saliva (SHIELD) available [no eating/drinking 1 hr prior to SHIELD]

Testing clinic only available for District 186 Students, Staff, Affiliates, and Volunteers 


District 186 COVID Guidelines

All students entering a pre-k program, kindergarten, 6th grade, 9th grade and those new to Springfield Public Schools must provide proof of a physical exam completed by a physician, nurse practitioner or physician's assistant by the first day of school.  An updated immunization record is also required.  Students failing to provide all mandatory health information will be excluded on the 10th day and will not be allowed to return until all required records are received in the school office.

Children entering kindergarten, 2nd, 6th and 9th grade are required to have a dental exam. Students entering kindergarten and those new to Illinois schools are also required to have a vision exam. 

No students are allowed to return after October 15th unless compliant with Illinois School Health Requirements.
