Special Needs Social Club and What Comes Next Transition Fair -- December 9, 2019

Two great events in one!  Please join us for the Special Needs Social Club and Sangamon County Transition Planning Committee's "What Comes Next...A Transition Fair."  

WHEN: Monday, December 9, 2019; 5:30-7:30, come and go as your schedule allows

WHERE: Erin's Pavilion, 4965 2nd Street, Springfield, IL

WHAT: The Special Needs Social Club is a an opportunity for children with disabilities, ages 5-21, to cultivate friendships, foster peer relationships, and work to develop and support social skills.  A community effort sponsored by Springfield Public Schools, Springfield Park District, Sparc and Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago. Students will create a craft and socialize while parents visit the resource fair.  The What Comes Next ... A Transition Fair is a resource fair with information and resources for a successful future beyond high school for students with an IEP, 504 or documented disability.  Representatives from agencies across the area will be on hand to answer your questions about employment, college and services available and help prepare you for life after high school.  Many exhibitors have been added since this flyer was created.
