Holiday Extravaganza Volunteer Spots

 (If you have not signed up yet, we need you!)

Friday night December 13 —help taping out vendor spaces.  Will be marking out 10x10 spaces on the floor and helping to tape them.  This is pretty hard work.  I could use 2-4 adults helping with this (my aim is to get the entire event taped that night)

Saturday  December 14

9-11 - taping event space(if not finished); move tables to space (need at least 1 adult)

10am-12pm - Assemble and decorate Christmas trees around the building and set stage area (I can use up to 4 kids; 1-2 adults)

1-3 p,m. - Assist vendors to their spots; set up tables and chairs where vendors need them...this will be pretty busy (up to 2 Beta volunteers)

3-5p.m. - assist vendors; set up tables; finish Christmas decorations (up to 2 Beta volunteers)

Sunday December 15 – PERFORMANCE DAY

9:00-11 work entrance table; collect money and pass out voting tickets (2 adults)

11-1: work entrance table; collect money and pass out voting tickets (2 adults)

1-3 work entrance table and collect money and pass out voting tix (2 people)

4-6pm remove tables and chairs; take down trees  (up to 4 people---NHS/Beta or adults)....if we have enough people it will go faster than the 2 hours

Please arrive to performances 25 – 30 minutes in advance

Wear JGC or holiday t-shirts

Attire is not strictly enforced – we care more that students have the opportunity to participate, dresses and suits will be worn in the spring

December 4th  – 8:15 AM Performance: Breakfast Bunch @ SBCS, wear t-shirts,

                               Doors open at 8:00 AM

December 7^th – 2:00 PM Performance: Pre-Kwanzaa Holiday Expo,

                             Boys and Girls Club, 300 S. 15^TH Street - Parents provide

                             transportation

December 10th  – Rehearsal (3:30 – 5:00)

December 14th  – 12:00 PM Performance: Southeast Bazaar @ Southeast High

                                 School

December 15th  – 2:50 PM Performance: Holiday Extravaganza @Illinois State

                                 Fairgrounds, Orr Building
