7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball Open Gym
There will be a 7th & 8th grade girls basketball open gym on Friday, August 24, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at Ball Charter. You will need your own transportation. Only 7th & 8th grade girls interested in trying out will be permitted in Ball Charter during the open gym.
7th & 8th grade girls basketball tryouts will be held on Monday, August 27, and Tuesday, August 28 @ Ball Charter School from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Tryouts are closed and only 7th & 8th grade girls attending tryouts will be allowed in Ball Charter School. You will need your own transportation. Girls interested in trying out for Girls Basketball must have an updated physical on file by the first day of tryouts. Cross Country Summer workouts are back!
All sessions at Lincoln Park. Meet on soccer field by Nelson Center Entrance. All sessions are 60 minutes long.
10 am: July 31, August 2, 6, 8, 10.
3 pm: August 14 and 16.
Regular season activities will begin August 20 at Lincoln Magnet School at 2:45 in the gym. A full season schedule of meets and practices will be available at that time.
Please note: Summer workouts are not required, just very good for you.

Cross Country Reminders
Cross Country preseason workouts will be held on July 31 and August 2, 4, 7, 9 & 11 at Lincoln Park (park in the Nelson Center parking lot and meet near the soccer field) from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Additional workouts will be held on August 15 & 17 at Lincoln Park from 3:30-4:30 p.m. While attendance is ecouraged these workouts are voluntary. Please make sure to come prepared to run: running shoes, plenty of water and sunscreen. Please continue to check the LMS website throughout the summer and on days when workouts are scheduled as changes and cancellations will be posted.
