Offered in partnership with the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, Future Presidents of America invites a diverse cohort of local youth to participate in an innovative and engaging, immersive leadership experience. In offering the camp, ALPLM seeks to cultivate future leaders through developing individual confidence, civic literacy, and good citizenship. To that end, each day of the camp focuses on a key topic related to Presidential leadership, including: communitas and civitas; confidence and qualifications; poise and policy; duty, honor, and sacrifice; and e pluribus unum. Additionally, all participants who complete the program will be invited to participate in ALPLM events throughout the year as Junior Ambassadors of the museum, including the opportunity to help lead and shape future iterations of the camp.
