
Student Arrival in the Mornings
Starting today (8/30/21) at 8:40am, all students will enter the building using the gym doors on Lenox, the doors closest to the corner. Students arriving late, after 9am will have to use the parking lot entrance to sign in your child.

Great news! This year, District 186 is supplying ALL elementary students with a School Supply Kit. See the attached school supply list for the additional supplies specific grade levels request students to have for the first day of school.

Health Requirements
BACK TO SCHOOL PHYSICAL AND IMMUNIZATIONS
All students entering a pre-k program, kindergarten, 6th grade, 9th grade and those new to Springfield Public Schools must provide proof of a physical exam completed by a physician, nurse practitioner or physician's assistant by the first day of school. An updated immunization record is also required. Students failing to provide all mandatory health information will be excluded on the 10th day of school and will not be allowed to return until all required records are received in the school office.
If you need assistance locating a physician, SIU School of Medicine at (217)545-8000 or Central Counties Health Center at (217)788-2300 is available to help meet your child's health care needs.
Children entering kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grade are required to have a dental exam. Students entering kindergarten and those new to Illinois schools are also required to have a vision exam.
