Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am looking forward to a wonderful, productive year with your children. I am also looking forward to working in partnership with the parents. Being the Dubois Parent Educator is a joy, and I am very pleased to be here. Student success is always my first priority. As a parent educator I will encourage and promote active partnerships between parents and teachers, so that your child is successful in school.

As a Parent Educator, I will provide support and information to families individually as well as through parent workshops/support groups. I act as a liaison between families, schools and community agencies. Each month, my article can be found under the heading, “Parent Educator’s Corner!”
