Device Return at Feitshans

May 18, 2020

Feitshans Elementary School is preparing for our parents/guardians to return technology devices (iPad, chargers, and HotSpots if applicable) and library books as well as pick up student personal belongings. In order to maintain social distancing and safety of our families and staff members, this process will follow a drive-thru format much like we did for technology distribution.

We look forward to sending all of our students off with smiles, cheers, and a whole lot of love - we miss seeing you all!

Before arriving at Feitshans:

Make a sign with your child/children’s name and teacher’s name/grade level and place the sign in your vehicle’s right side windshield

Have ALL iPads and HotSpots charged and POWERED ON with necessary chargers and any library books in a plastic bag.

Place returning bag into the trunk or back of vehicle (that can be retrieved by pushing a button)

Due to safety concerns, please remain in your vehicle

When you arrive at Feitshans:

Please enter the drive thru line on the Kansas side of the school going east. A volunteer member will retrieve the items from the vehicle.

Follow the line around the building to the south side (Stuart St.) where a volunteer will bring out your students’ belongings, receipt for the return of the devices, report card, and parent account information. They will place the items in the truck or back of the vehicle.

If you would like to take a picture of your student, there will be balloons and a banner at the school entrance gate. Social distancing must be followed if you choose to take photos.
