Parents - Today at Grant Middle School we practiced a school lockdown / law enforcement drill . These drills are required by the state yearly, students were advised it was a drill. Springfield police and fire department supervised and advised on the drill as it was conducted. Classes experienced a brief interruption while it was conducted and students returned to normal activities within 5 minutes .
