Good morning Grant Middle School,  today is Wednesday, October 17th, 2018. Today is a  “B“ day.
Pictures and ID's will be passed out during Advisory classes this week.  If you would like retakes, they will be October 25th and YOU MUST bring your original packet back.  Keep your ID though because they do not reprint those even if you get your picture retaken.
Reminder students to take a coat/ jacket / sweatshirt to lunch — students you may stay in the cafeteria but his is not required — once you go outside you stay outside— if you go to the library no food or drink is allowed. 
“Beta Club is doing Pink Shirt Fridays for every Friday in October. Don’t forget to buy your GMS breast cancer shirts. They are on sale during all lunch hours. Shirts cost $10.” 
  No “F “ Soda Celebration

What: Students will be rewarded with a soda of their choice by administration for not having a single “F” on their 1stquarter report card! Students will be able to carry this soda around with them all day long!  A name tag with your name will be placed on your soda.

Where: you will get a soda personally delivered to you during your advisory period!

When: The week of October 29th

Why: We are rewarding your hard work and academic achievement!

Who: Everyone who does not have an F on their 1stquarter report card!

 Students - The annual Halloween Dance is around the corner (October 19th) remember you must be eligible for attendance based on behavior / referrals.

 Students reminder: the learning lab is open on Tuesday & Thursday  be in the cafeteria by 2:40 with a signed learning lab pass from a teacher.   No math tutoring today.

 Students this “our “ school, please show respect to building and grounds by using trash cans and doing your part to keep Grant looking it’s best and remember to be respectful of others property to and from school. 
 Reminder students the expectation at Grant is to  keep your hands and feet to yourselves at all times during the school day. 

 Students for your safety please only cross at the designated crosswalk areas.
