Good morning Grant Middle School,  today is Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018. Today is a  “B“ day

Students — This week we are raffling off prize baskets for 1st quarter for students who are 5 star generals.  The baskets you can win are on display all this week in the glass windows between the main lobby and the library (by the tardy table).  Each basket has box in front of the basket, where you can turn in your purple positives for a chance to win a basket.  You can turn in as many purple positives you want towards the basket or baskets you would want to win.  The baskets will be on display through all lunch shifts on Thursday.  The winners of the baskets will be announced at the end of the day on Thursday.

Book Fair is coming - October 24th through October 31st the PTO will be holding a Scholastic book fair in the Library.  It will be open during lunch shifts every day and during parent teacher conferences from 5-8 on Thursday and 8-3 on Friday.  Every dollar you spend will help raise Scholastic dollars for our school.

Pride of the Generals will meet Tuesday night after school.

No art club on Thursday because of parent teacher conferences

Students -  If you would like retakes, they will be October 25th and YOU MUST bring your original packet back.  Keep your ID though because they do not reprint those even if you get your picture retaken.

Reminder students to take a coat/ jacket / sweatshirt to lunch — students you may stay in the cafeteria but his is not required — once you go outside you stay outside— if you go to the library no food or drink is allowed

Don’t forget to buy your GMS breast cancer shirts. They are on sale during all lunch hours. Shirts cost $10.”

Students reminder: the learning lab is open on Tuesday this week please arrive by 2:40 with signed learning lab pass

Students this “our “ school, please show respect to building and grounds by using trash cans and doing your part to keep Grant looking it’s best and remember to be respectful of others property to and from school.

Reminder students the expectation at Grant is to  keep your hands and feet to yourselves at all times during the school day

Students for your safety please only cross at the designated crosswalk areas

Would you please now rise for the Pledge of Allegiance!

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, Indivisible with liberty and justice for all.—

Now please observe a moment of silence and personal reflection
