As first semester is coming to a close, we need to prepare for second semester, which begins January 5, 2021, for students. As discussed at last night’s Board Meeting, the District will remain remote for the rest of this semester. The earliest we could begin the hybrid learning model will be Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
Families have the opportunity to review and change their preferred learning model (hybrid or remote). Please see the attached for more information about each model. Changes to the preferred learning model are due Monday, November 30.
Please note that student schedules and teacher assignments were based on the first semester preferences. If you change your preference, your student’s teacher and or schedule may change. We will do our best to accommodate preferences without changes. Additionally, some courses may still be remote even if your preference is a hybrid model due to staff availability.
If you would like to change the preferred learning model, please follow these steps:
- Sign into your parent account on Information System
- Select Prefs
- Select Preferred Learning Model
- Change the second semester preference
- Click Submit
If you do not know your parent account login or need assistance, please call your student’s school GMS at 525-3170.
You do not need to take any action if you want the same learning model that you chose for first semester.
