Hybrid students reminder for the return this week:

Hybrid A - students attend in person on Tuesday & Thursday — The building opens at 7:30 for breakfast/school starts at 8:00 a.m and dismissal will be at 1:30 

Hybrid B- students attend in person on Wednesday & Friday — The building opens at 7:30 for breakfast/school starts at 8:00 a.m and dismissal will be at 1:30 

Masks must be worn. Gaiters, bandanas, and scarves are not school appropriate. We will be issuing a cotton mask to all students this week. Disposable masks will be available if needed

Students will visit lockers 4 times each day. Before Advisory ( first-class) before and after lunch, and at the end of the day 

Supplies - Basic only teachers will provide details — Students need their charged Chromebook each day, the computer bag, a few pens & pencils in the zippered pouch on the computer bag. Bring your GMS planner and one notebook.

We have foaming hand sanitizer stations throughout the building as well as in the classrooms.  Parents, please encourage students to wash/sanitize hands regularly. We will have 6 minute passing periods between classes to allow for teachers to clean and wipe down desks. Students should use the restroom and wash their hands during this time as needed.

Clear / mostly clear water bottles are approved for class and student use

Grant school dress code will be required — this has been reviewed daily on announcements, Parents you can find the dress code on the GMS webpage  https://www.sps186.org/schools/grant/ and attached below

All students will go through a Covid Screener before entering the building, this will include a temperature check as well as symptoms screener questions daily. Any student reporting or exhibiting symptoms will be taken to the nurse and the isolation area to be evaluated.
