ATTENTION GMS 6TH GRADERS!

Plan on attending the WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) Orientation on August 14th!

WHERE? GMS GYM

WHAT TIME? 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

WHAT ABOUT FOOD? We will provide a mid morning snack and drink. It will be a busy day so please eat breakfast beforehand! We will not provide lunch.

WHAT SHALL I BRING? NOTHING

WHAT DO I WEAR? Very comfortable, cool clothes. Shorts and tee shirts are recommended. We will be very active on this day. (You do not need to wear your uniform on this day)

WHAT WILL WE DO? You will do several fun activities where you will meet other new 6th graders attending Grant. You will meet your WEB Leader (an 8th grade student) who will help you throughout the entire school year. Our hope is that you will leave the orientation feeling calm and confident about attending your new school and becoming a Grant General.

CAN MOM AND/OR DAD JOIN ME? This day is geared for students only, however parents are welcome to come to the Open House the evening of August 16th. Please have a ride arranged so that you may go home at 12:00 pm or plan to ride the school bus home.
