Grant needs your voice, energy and time! The F.A.C.E. team meets monthy and provides volunteers, funds, decision-making and more! We come together to learn and set goals for the year to support student achievement.
Our mission as a Family & Community Engagement (F.A.C.E.) at Grant Middle School is to promote and encourage communication between parents, teachers, administration and the community.
F.A.C.E. Team meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Library.
FROM THE PARENT EDUCATOR:
Hello and WELCOME Grant Families!
I’m Aldean Piphus, the Title I Parent Educator. I encourage families, throughout this year, to stay engaged with your student and their teachers to have a ROCKING great year!
One way to stay engaged with your student, teacher, and school is by attending Family Engagements, which are funded through federal Title I funds to support student achievement. You and your child will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of school events and I hope you will take full advantage! These events will be family-oriented, with engaging, fun activities and materials to take home for practice and learning. I hope to see every family at all of our family engagements. With your help, we all will be growing and working together for student achievement!
F.A.C.E.-(Family And Community Engagement) Our team meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month, along with PTO/Booster Club. Parents, staff, and members of the community are invited to our monthly meetings to help plan upcoming academic or extra-curricular events. Your input and volunteering would be valued and appreciated!
