Good morning Grant Middle School, today is Monday, June 3rd  2019. Today is a  “A“ day— The last day of the year!!!!!!


Today is a 1:30 schedule — we will start filed day at 1:30 


Final day of the book fair   — remember it’s buy one get one — make sure you take advantage of this sale !!!!


Attention all newly selected 7th Grade WEB Leaders…Mrs. Hayes needs you to submit your summer contact information online.  Please take time in your advisory to visit the link on her website. See Mrs. Hayes with questions. 


 Track uniforms should be cleaned and placed in a plastic bag. inside the bag written on a piece of paper should be the student’s name. the bags should be turned into Mr. Hoffek, coach Miller, coach Peter or coach Taylor this week. students will be assessed a fine starting next week until the uniform has been turned in to a coach.


YEARBOOKS ARE HERE!  They are $20 each and can be purchased from Ms. Marsha in the main office


Attention students  - All library books need returned or paid for now. See Mrs. Hall to pay for your lost books.


 Reminder students school starts at 8:00 every day — the building opens for breakfast at 7:30 — Please be On Time and Ready to learn every day…. 

Tardy total challenge this week - remember the class with the lowest on Friday receives an extra 5 minutes of lunch on Monday or first day of week


The following are daily reminders of behavior expectations and Grant rules:


Throwing items in class is a serious safety violation and will be met with consequences ranging up to possible suspension from school . Do no throw items, it is dangerous. Do the right thing - you know better and we expect better from you!


Brushes , picks, combs, etc…. hair products are not allowed or too be used in class or hallways — Please keep in locker put away during the day.


 Grant is a uniform school —advisory teachers please check students for uniform violations at this time — Hoodies must be school issued, sport , club or activity or a state series competition from IESA 


Students the expectation in the hallway is to use appropriate language at all times— We are at school, be mindful of the language and respectful if corrected.


 - Purses and fanny packs are NOT  allowed to be worn or taken to class at Grant middle school 


  Students to take a coat/ jacket / sweatshirt to lunch — students you may stay in the cafeteria if the weather is poor— once you go outside you stay outside— if you go to the library, no food or drink is allowed 


 Students this is  “our “ school, please show respect to building and grounds, by using trash cans and doing your part to keep Grant looking it’s best. Remember to be respectful of others property to and from school. 


 The expectation at Grant is to keep your hands and feet to yourselves, at all times during the school day and on the way to and home from school— This means no “Play Fighting "

 Students for your safety please only cross at the designated crosswalk areas

 Would you please now rise for the Pledge of Allegiance!
