CATCH: What's it all about?

Coordinated Approach to Child Health (CATCH) is a cross-curricular approach to helping children understand the importance of nutrition and activity.
The physical education teacher, classroom teachers, food service director, and families work together to help the students get the message that developing
healthy habits at an early age makes for a healthy life.

CATCH A Healthy Choice

ALL Iles families are welcome to come to our CATCH event on Thursday, April 22 from 6:00 - 7:30. Come ready to CATCH by wearing your favorite baseball shirt! Join in the fun of games, activities, and snacks. Residents from SIU School of Medicine will provide blood pressure and
body mass index (BMI) screenings as well as some of the activities. Various local businesses and organizations will have booths and/or demonstrations as well. Jump ropes will be given to families courtesy of Modern Woodmen of America/Michael Little. Register for door prizes. We will kick off CATCH with a karate demonstration
for the classes by Mr. Val Wirth. Looking forward to seeing you on April 22nd!
