Please take all lunch money for your lunch account to the cafeteria at breakfast time.
Make sure you are picking up after yourself both in the cafeteria and on the playground. Use the trash cans provided. Don't litter!
You must choose an outdoor activity as you leave the cafeteria. Once you are outside at that activity, you MUST stay at that activity for the entire time!
• Cheerleading ~ Practice is cancelled for today! Please pick up your shirt today or tomorrow from Ms. Joost.
• Game Admission Fees ~ Prices for admission to all JMS games, including Saturday games, have been changed. The new fees are:
Students K-8 ~ $2.00
Adults & High School Students ~ $3.00
Seniors (62 years old & older) ~ $2.00
BUDDY ROOM CONSEQUENCES
If you are sent out of the classroom to a buddy room on a day that we have a home game, you are NOT allowed to attend the game. This includes athletes.
If you have issues at a home game, you can be banned from any JMS extra-curricular activity including dances, skating, bowling, and end of the year field trips!
MRS. BORDERS WILL KISS A PIG!
Mrs. Borders is going to kiss a pig! That's right ~ KISS A PIG! We will be raising money for the JMS gender program. The challenge for students is to raise $300. If you do, then Mrs. Borders will kiss a pig. Pucker up Mrs. Borders!!!!
Ms. J-C's math class challenges Mr. Blunk's math class to see whose classes get the highest math test scores. Bring it on!
6TH GRADE BOYS' NIGHT OUT
For a boys' night out, come to JMS on October 1st from 6-8:30PM! The cost is $10. Boys will have pizza & snacks, make edible poop, participate in "Minute to Win It" challenges, do an engineering challenge, play Wii & board games, make marble mazes, make slime, and have a photo booth. You will also be able to watch the movie "Diary of a Wimpy Kid." Don't miss out on all of the fun!
Remember ~ if you are wearing a long-sleeved shirt under your uniform polo shirt, the long-sleeved shirt must be the same color as your uniform polo shirt.
Also, if you wear a short-sleeved t-shirt under your uniform polo shirt and it is a different color than your uniform polo shirt, that t-shirt should not be showing at the bottom of your uniform polo nor should it be showing at the bottom of the sleeves of your uniform polo. Make sure you tuck in the t-shirt.
• No gum is allowed at JMS.
• No stretchy bracelets, rubber bands, or hair elastics should be worn on your wrists.
• We do NOT use the words SHUT UP at JMS!
PASSES AT LUNCH
Please remember ~ You must have a pass from a teacher in order to go to a classroom at lunch to make up work or receive additional help. Students without passes will not be allowed to go to classrooms!
The School Store is open for business! You may come to Mrs. Huffman's room, room 113, before school to purchase pens, pencils, erasers, paper, and other school supplies.
All 6th grade students must have a physical. Please check your book bag and locker & turn in the physical form as soon as possible.

Students ~ If you have asthma, please be sure to check with Nurse Janet in room 109 about keeping an emergency inhaler at school.
Our goal is for every JMS student to have a 91% attendance rate or better this school year. Later this week we will be celebrating our attendance with a reward! What will the reward be? Continue to come to school and find out!
